Kimi ni Todoke fans, rejoice! The OP single by Tanizawa Tomofumi (タニザワトモフミ) has finally been released. I'm sure everyone's been eagerly anticipating the release of this wonderful song from a (so far) stellar anime series. Tanizawa's voice reminds me of Kusano Masamune from Spitz, with his high pitch and soft, soft tone.

Even if you haven't watched the anime, I'd highly recommend getting this single anyway. It's like a perfect blend of Spitz, Suneohair and Quruli.

If you're a fan of anime, then you've watched Honey and Clover. And if you've watched Honey and Clover, then you've heard of Suneohair, the guy who did the ED "Waltz" and "Split" for the first and second seasons. I don't think I need to type up an introduction for him if you've heard his songs, but for the uninitiated, Suneohair (スネオヘアー) is the stage name of Kenji Watanabe, a pop musician who writes, composes and performs his own music. While his first few albums sound like standard pop infused jrock, on his later albums he makes a lot more use of synth and keys to make his own sound. Very smooth, soft and soulful voice.

Here's a few of his albums to start out with. I'll try post up the rest when I get more time.
